Cake Recipe

I've asked for this cake on my birthday for the last two or three years and will probably continue to do so for many years to come. Yes, it's that good.


German Chocolate Caramel Coffee Cake

1 box german chocolate cake mix                     2 Tbsp. butter
14 oz. caramels                                                 5 oz. evaporated milk
12 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake according to directions. Pour half of the cake batter in a 9x13'' pan and cook for 15 min. Melt caramels in a saucepan and add butter and evaporated milk. Remove cake from the oven; add caramel mixture, chocolate chips and rest of batter. Cook another 20-25 min.

I could eat this stuff all day! 

And instead of ice cream I always request lime punch. 1 container lime sherbet and enough ginger ale to get it to the desired consistency. Yum!
